Parenting can be tough! Learn to parent positively by understanding your child’s development and how to deal with the ups and downs of parenting. Healthy Start of North Central Florida offers a FREE parenting program in Alachua, Bradford, Columbia, Hamilton and Putnam Counties. The Maternal, Infant and Early Childhood Home Visiting (MIECHV) program will help you:
- Learn about your child’s development
- Gain one-on-one parenting support
- Connect with other parents and resources
- Address developmental delays and/or health issues
- Access books and educational toys for your child
- Be the best parent you can be
When you participate in the MIECHV program, you can earn free diapers, wipes, educational toys, books and other items that help your child’s growth and development.
The program is for parents and caregivers with children from birth to 3 years of age. Parent educators meet with you one-on-one. Don’t worry if transportation is an issue—our parent educators come to you! Learn more about the MIECHV program. Call MIECHV in your county:
